Patience, time and honesty - since the practice opened in 2020, the ROC Aschheim near Munich has combined these pillars of the practice philosophy with the promise of offering the most modern, best possible diagnostics and treatment from a single source. Dr. Daniel Filesch, specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery, and his practice advise and treat their patients according to the latest scientific findings and are also actively involved in research and teaching themselves. The practice specializes in regenerative orthopaedic procedures and the avoidance of surgery. Since March 2022, the Regenerative Orthopaedic Center has had an SCS MedSeries® H22 class CBCT. We spoke to Dr. Filesch about his decision-making process and the installation of the system in his practice.
Dr. Filesch first became aware of the CBCT through an article on the BVOU website, whereupon he sought contact with SCS and received detailed advice. The benefits of SCS imaging quickly convinced the doctor: "The advantages of DVT are obvious. It is the extremely precise diagnostics and the outstanding image display in the X-ray range. In the end, the decision-making process was not difficult." He was also able to count on the advice of SCS in all financial matters. "I have to be honest, I've never been so well supported in anything and nothing has gone as smoothly in my practice as the implementation of the DVT. The installation of the H22 was fantastic and the DVT is running flawlessly."
Since the system was installed, the CBCT has now been in regular use in the practice, says Dr. Filesch, who is delighted: "Every day, we can use the SCS CBCT to identify several indications that we would not have been able to visualize using X-rays and it is one of the most powerful and best diagnostic options we currently have in the practice. My team is delighted with the ease of use, I'm thrilled with the extremely high resolution and great images and the patients are delighted with the technology."
