The Open MRT moves to the ROC!

Since January, the ROC-Aschheim has been offering private patients or self-pay patients the opportunity to make an appointment for a magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) in the OPEN-MRT without a long lead time.

Over the past few weeks, our patients have already been able to guess that something "big" is about to move in. A fully-fledged MRI unit has been built out of a 50m² basement apartment.

This meant that the apartment had to be completely cleared out and gutted. All the floors had to be covered with a new concrete screed and the electrics and plumbing had to be completely renewed. Carpentry work, air conditioning and core drilling were necessary to prepare everything for the Open MRT.

A 17-ton MRI machine requires space - so the building façade was broken up and new accesses to the MRI unit were created. We also gave the stairwell and entrance area an attractive design. Interior designers, electricians, structural engineers, carpenters, plumbers, cabin builders, drywallers, floor layers, bricklayers, core drillers and I worked hard.

We are therefore all the more pleased to be able to offer you the option of an open MRI:In a pleasant atmosphere and without long waiting times!

Following the MRI, we discuss your results directly in order to make a diagnosis as quickly as possible and initiate appropriate treatment measures.

MRI is an imaging procedure that can be used to visualize numerous clinical pictures, inflammatory foci or changes in the body.

The open MRI is also suitable for patients who generally feel uncomfortable in confined spaces. This option is also suitable for children, as the open concept does not create a restrictive feeling.

You can make appointments as usual via our website or by telephone on 089 21530 333
